Medior IT Engineer (M/F) (Hasselt)

Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our clients networks.
Performing network audits and advise clients on network security, network upgrades and migrations.
Planning, budgeting and coordination of implementation projects.

Needed skills:
Proof of knowledge and experience in following fields:

• Windows server: 2003/2008/2012/2016
• Exchange: 2007/2010/2013
• Terminal server: 2003/2008/2012 (Citrix)
• XP/Vista/W7/W8/W10
• Firewall
• Antivirus/Antispam
• Backup
• Virtualization
• Central Storage

Microsoft Certified or prepared to pass the exams is an asset.
Experience with project management.

Education:
No specific requirements but an IT related degree is an asset.

Needed competences:

• Control of risk management (security, confidentiality, reliability, … ) of IT systems used in a company.
• Identify, control and advise on the risks linked to the implementation of a new technology
• Supervision and coordination of projects.
• Domain: IT networks
• Lead and coach an integration project of hard and software solutions.
• Analyze the functional needs of a company and define the technical demands of the product in line with the requirements.
• Support users, clients and departments with your technical knowledge.
• Train users and IT teams on the use and technical aspects of the new infrastructure.
• Create and implement procedures, targets and measurements to guarantee the reliability of IT systems.
• Support the client with their procurement and create solution concepts, budgets and quotes together with budgets, planning and milestones.
• Implement, test and document new infrastructure and software.
• Creation of technical documents (quotes, technical requirements, …)
• Suggest technical concepts and solutions of IT architecture, supply different options and make the evaluation based on the functional requirements and budget.
• Follow up of technical evolutions and regulations with a personal lifetime learning attitude.

Experience: 3 to 5 years working experience
